Family Portraits:
Keep it simple, timeless, classic!
A family portrait is a special occasion and you should spend some time planning your clothing. If you are doing an outdoor photo shoot, stay with natural colors. Earth tones are great and some variation will look good on everyone! If your background will be trees and other greens, brown tones are a great choice for clothing. Dark brown pants, tan top, light brown dress, tan sweater etc. are all great! Dark blues, maroons, and dark greens are also complimentary.
Stay away from any words, bold stripes, distracting patterns and/or distracting colors!
The purpose of your family portrait is to capture the true sense of your family's soul so of course we can always be creative!!

Clothing Ideas and tips for Portraits!
Tuesday, October 2, 2007
A post late in coming.. EP Images and Sage Femme organized a photo shoot at Natural Resources in San Francisco at the end of August. The purpose of the photo shoot was to capture the love between a mother and her littlest, cutest baby! The photos have been used in a publication for the Premier of the Mother Baby International Film Festival in Portland, Oregon September 28th, 29th and 30th. We were so happy when 30 moms and even more babies came to Natural Resources for the shoot! We were blessed. The shoot was incredibly fun for me as I love to connect with each baby! Each mom was given a 5x7 from their mini shoot AND 10% of the profits from any extra order will be split between Sage Femme and Natural Resources. Thank you to Natural Resources for the space and the hospitality!
